1. Platform Overview

CollabInst is a marketplace connecting Instagram creators with brands. We facilitate deals, content delivery and payments. CollabInst takes a 20% platform fee on every completed deal.

2. Content Ownership & Copyright

• All content created by a creator remains their intellectual property until full payment is confirmed and rights are formally transferred.
• Preview versions of reels are watermarked and are strictly for review purposes only.
• Brands may not use, download, share or publish any watermarked preview content under any circumstances.
• Using preview content without completing payment constitutes copyright infringement and will result in immediate account termination and legal action.
• Content rights transfer to the brand only after full payment is confirmed by CollabInst admin.

3. Creator Obligations

• Creators must deliver original, high quality content that matches the agreed deal description.
• Creators must not upload inappropriate, sexual, violent or misleading content. Violations result in immediate permanent ban.
• If the deal includes posting on the creator's Instagram account, the post must remain live for a minimum of 30 days.
• Early deletion of a required Instagram post before the 30-day period will result in withholding of the second payment instalment.
• Creators must provide proof of posting (Instagram post URL and screenshot) within 48 hours of the agreed posting date.
• All uploaded content is reviewed by CollabInst admin before being shown to brands. This is non-negotiable.

4. Brand Obligations

• Brands must clearly describe the content they need before a deal is initiated.
• Brands must pay the full agreed amount to CollabInst before content creation begins.
• Brands may not use preview/watermarked content for any purpose.
• Brands must review and respond to delivered content within 7 days. Failure to respond will be treated as automatic approval.
• Brands may request one free revision per deal. Additional revisions may incur extra charges agreed between brand and creator.
• Attempting to steal, copy or use content without proper payment will result in permanent ban and legal action.

5. Payment Terms

• All payments are made to CollabInst first. CollabInst holds funds in escrow until content is approved.
• Creator receives 80% of the agreed deal amount. CollabInst retains 20% as platform fee.
• For deals requiring Instagram posting, payment is disbursed in full once the deal is completed and verified by admin.
• CollabInst reserves the right to withhold or refund payment in case of disputes, fraud or policy violations.
• All payments are final once released. No refunds after content is approved and rights transferred.

6. Message Monitoring & Privacy

• All messages sent on CollabInst are stored securely and may be reviewed by CollabInst admin for fraud detection, dispute resolution and platform safety purposes.
• CollabInst monitors messages to detect platform bypass attempts — where brands and creators agree to conduct deals outside the platform to avoid platform fees.
• Any attempt to move deals outside CollabInst will result in immediate permanent ban of both parties.
• Messages are never shared with third parties and are only used for internal platform safety purposes.
• By using CollabInst you consent to this message monitoring policy.

6. Content Moderation

• All uploaded reels are reviewed by CollabInst admin before being shown to brands.
• CollabInst reserves the right to reject any content that violates our community guidelines.
• Rejected content will be returned to the creator with a reason. Creator may resubmit revised content.
• Repeated violations will result in permanent account termination.

7. Dispute Resolution

• In case of disputes between brands and creators, CollabInst admin has final authority.
• Both parties must provide evidence to support their claims.
• CollabInst will make a fair decision based on the deal terms, delivered content and platform policies.
• CollabInst is not liable for disputes arising from unclear deal descriptions or undocumented agreements made outside the platform.

8. Account Termination

• CollabInst reserves the right to terminate any account that violates these terms.
• Terminated accounts forfeit any pending payments if termination is due to policy violations.
• Users may delete their own accounts at any time from their profile settings.
